Kingdom Due to Failure of the
Currant Crop.

LONDON, Sept. 27. 8 a.m. - The Athens correspondent of the Standard draws attention to the exodus of emigrants to the United States, which he says is probably due to the failure of the currant crop in Greece.  Official reports say that 8,000 persons have emigrated during the last year and that this exodus continues.
